* Due to a change in how AMIs are calculated in 2007, HUD published 2007 AMIs that were calculated put to be lower than the 2006 AMIs. Because of this, HUD decided to freeze the program Income Limits at the 2006 levels.
**When HUD published the new AMIs, on 2/13/2008, they decided to AGAIN freeze the Income Limits where they currently stand.
***Median Incomes changed effective 3/19/2009.
****Median Incomes changed effective 5/14/2010. HUD also eliminated "Hold Harmless" freeze on Limits. Instituted a cap of 5% on decreases/increases of Limits.

*****Median Incomes changed effective 5/31/2011. HUDallowed use of UNROUNDED numbers for 9-person & 10-person Income Limits. We did use ROUNDED numbers for Median Incomes.

*** 30% column was added to accommodate the QHWRA 1998 income targeting requirement.  11/19/98

SECTION 8: 75% of all New Admissions must have Annual Incomes below 30% of the Median Income for the family size.

PUBLIC HOUSING: 40% of all New Admissions must have Annual Incomes below 30% of the Median Income for the family size.
